The cold frame where I start my seedlings was full so I put a couple trays of seeds on the floor of my loft. Ten days later, I had some small leggy seedlings all leaning toward the window.

At first, I laughed. These seedlings looked a bit silly! How far would they lean? Should I rotate the trays to help them stand straight?
Then I thought about how humans also yearn for light: positive people, hopeful scenarios, happiness and laughter. Even when it's not the easiest to access - like from a tray of soil 50cm's below the window - we naturally seek it out. This is part of the resilience of people, I think.
A question for you to reflect on: What "light" are you leaning toward and how can you be more active or intentional in seeking it out?
